Delay in the production is one of the principal factors for a film’s production costs to shoot up at an alarming rate. The same has happened with Akhil’s Agent which is up for release on the 28th of this month.
The film was initially supposed to be shot on a budget of Rs 40 crore which in itself was over the top for an Akhil starrer.
But due to the delay in production, the costs went up for further and the makers ended up spending over Rs 80 crore on the production. The budget almost doubled due to the unprecedented delays.
Agent now has a huge task at hand in recovering the massive production costs and also make profits on top of that. This will be a huge challenge for the Akhil Akkineni starrer. The film will release on 28 April and it has to be seen how it fares in theaters.
