The High Court had given an order a few weeks ago, cancelling the Andhra Pradesh government’s GO stating that Sanchaita Gajapatiraju is the Chairman of the MANSAS trust. The HC reinstated that Ashok is the chairman and that no one else can take his place.
Just yesterday, Anand Gajapatiraju’s other daughter, Urmila Gajapatiraju, the daughter he had with his second wife, filed a petition in the high court, requesting for the HC to remove Ashok as the Chairman of the MANSAS trust, and replace him with her, as she is the heir of Anand. However, the HC also cancelled this petition, stating that Ashok will continue to remain the chairman of MANSAS trust.
MANSAS employees were also not paid salaries by the government earlier, but Ashok saw to it that those employees were paid in full, by going to the High Court. While the YSRCP claims that Ashok Gajapatiraju has no claim over MANSAS, the TDP members are calling YSRCP blind to the facts.
