Getup Srinu, renowned for his “Jabardasth” performances and often dubbed the “small-screen Kamal Haasan,” is set to make his debut as a protagonist in the film “Raju Yadav.” This film also introduces Krishnamachary as a director. Producers K. Prashant Reddy and Rajesh Kallepalli are backing the project under the banners of Sai Varunavi Creations and Charisma Dreams Entertainment. Following the positive reception of its teaser and songs, the film’s theatrical trailer has been released, by Super Hero Teja Sajja.
The trailer begins with a incident which brought bad fate to the life of the Raju Yadav. A cricket accident leaves him unable to move his facial muscles, resulting in a smiling face always that ironically becomes the source of his problems. With an expensive surgery as the only solution, Raju moves to Hyderabad and becomes a cab driver to save up for the operation. His life takes a turn when he meets a woman who adores his smile, but she leaves him.
“Raju Yadav” promises to be a full-fledged entertainer, drawing inspiration from true events and brought to life by Krishnamachary’s direction. Getup Srinu delivers a compelling performance, evoking laughter and empathy in equal measure. Ankita Kharat joins him as the lead actress.
The film’s cinematography is done by Sai Ram Uday, while Harshvardhan Rameshwar scores the music. The production design is well-suited to the film’s comedic tone. “Raju Yadav,” is set to premiere globally on May 17th.
