The Andhra Pradesh government, led by the YSRCP and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, made a deal with Amul a few months ago.
The High Court of Andhra Pradesh has now ordered that the government is not to use or grant any funds towards the deal it made with Amul till the 14th of this month.
YSRCP rebel MP Raghu Ramakrishna Raju filed a petition on this issue in the High Court, which came to a hearing today. After the hearing of the case came to an end, the HC passed these intermediary orders.
The High Court is set to send notices to the Gujarat based Amul and National Dairy Development Board. The court also asked Amul and the National Dairy Development Board to submit complete details of the deal they made with the Andhra Pradesh government.
The next hearing of this case has been scheduled to take place on the 14th of this month.
