‘Harry Potter’ actress Helen McCrory is No More

British actress Helen McCrory, who is known for her portrayal in ‘Harry Potter’ movies and the television show ‘Peaky Blinders’, has died at 52. She had been suffering from cancer.

The actress’ husband Damian Lewis confirmed the news, saying that Helen died peacefully at her home after a heroic battle with cancer.

She played the matriarch of a crime family on Peaky Blinders and the role of Narcissa Malfoy, Draco Malfoy’s mother, in Harry Potter films. She also featured in National Theatre in 2014 and The Deep Blue Sea in 2016.

Daniel Radcliffe, who played the titular role in the Harry Potter series, shared a post on Instagram. “Really shocked and saddened by the news of the death of Helen McCrory,” he wrote. Meanwhile, the actress’ friends and colleagues condoled the death of Helen McCrory.
