Tamil ace actor-comedian and Padma Shri awardee Vivekanandan fondly known by his stage name Vivek, breathed his last at 4.45 am due to cardiac arrest in a Chennai hospital on Saturday. The 59 year old actor was admitted by his family in an unconscious state on Friday morning at a private hospital in Vadapalani.
This is undoubtedly a irreparable loss to entire South film industry to loose a phenomenal artist who has worked in more than 220 films in many languages.
As soon as the news came to light, celebrities and fans took to social media in utter dismay, and offered their deep condolences to him. Besides being an actor, Vivek is also a mimicry artist, writer, television personality, playback singer and social activist.
Not just the Kollywood but many of the Tollywood celebs mourned the death of the actor today morning via twitter.
Venkatesh Daggubati tweeted, “Absolutely heartbreaking to hear the unfortunate news of @Actor_Vivek Gaaru’s demise. You have gone too soon Vivek gaaru! You have created a void that cannot be filled! RIP”.
Samantha wrote, “What a great loss..shocked and saddened.. # RIPVivekSir”.
Allari Naresh took to twitter saying, “His work ruled our childhood laughs….A phenomenal artist with epic comedy timing…gone too soon…RIP @Actor_Vivek sir, you will be missed terribly but your art is forever”.
Nagababu said, “RIP Vivek sir. An actor who made us smile all way..his sudden demise left us all in pool of tears.”
Likewise actors Tamannaah, Allu Sirish, Rahul Ravindran, Pooja Hegde, Eesha Rebba, Music director Thaman etc shared their deep condolences for the sudden loss of actor Vivek.
