Telangana State Finance Minister Harish Rao announced good news for the unemployed youth in the state. He announced in the assembly that 50,000 jobs would be replaced soon.
Earlier, the Legislature approved the Retirement of Employees’ Bill and the Pensions of Former Members of Parliament.
The House approved raising the maximum pension to Rs 70,000 from Rs 50,000. MLAs who have won up to three times have had their pension increased from Rs 30,000 to Rs 50,000.
Members who have won more than three times will get a pension of Rs. 70,000. The House also passed a bill raising the retirement age to 61 years. The government has taken this decision with the intention of utilizing the experience of the employees.
