The four newly elected members of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council took oath in the state assembly on Monday. AP legislative council Protem Chairman Balasubramaniam administered the oath of office to the newly elected MLCs namely Lella Appi Reddy, Thota Trimurthulu, Moshen Raju and Ramesh Yadav. All four are nominated to the upper house under Governor‘s quota.
The event was attended by Government Adviser Sajjala Rama Krishna Reddy, Ministers Shri Ranganath Raju, Anil Kumar Yadav and other women MLAs and MLCs. It is learned that Governor Vishwabhushan Harichandan has recently approved the names of four MLC candidates nominated by the state government under the governor quota.
Lella Appi Reddy hails from Ankireddypalayam in the Guntur district. He is acting as the party-state general secretary and supervising the party headquarters.
Moshen Raju is from the West Godavari district. He resigned from the post of district president of the Congress party shortly after YS Jagan announced YSRCP.
Thota Trimurthulu is from Venkatayapalem near Draksharamam in East Godavari district. He is the party coordinator for the Mandapeta Assembly constituency.
Ramesh Yadav is a well educated leader from Prodduturu, Kadapa district. He has good relations with foreign educational institutions.
