Facebook, the popular social media company has released its new logo. The officially released statement reads that it is only the logo of the company, that has been changed, but not the app. The blue-white color logo is going to be retained for Facebook application.
As the popular social media company is hosting several other popular apps like Instagram, Whatsapp, Oculus and others, along with the FB app, it has decided to come up with the new logo, that features the colors of all its apps.

The new logo has all the uppercase letters, unlike the earlier one. The GIF shows the different brands – blue for Facebook app, green for WhatsApp, pink for Instagram, and so on.
The new logo uses custom typography and is “designed for clarity,” with the goal of creating a “visual distinction between the company and app,” the company says. The logo will soon come into the use on all the products and marketing materials of the company.
