Exclusive: ‘Nakka ki Nagalokani ki unnanta theda Undi’- Venky Mama Director

‘Nakka ki Nagalokani ki unnanta theda’ is how director Bobby compared the rest of the hill stations like Kodai Kanal etc to what they saw and shot in Jammu and Kashmir.

He heaped praise on Jammu and Kashmir and said it was a peaceful State and even if you would take dummy guns and roam on the streets none would disturb you or question you.

He might be going overboard in his statement but the simple fact is that the shoot of Venky Mama happened before Jammu and Kashmir got included in India.

His executive producer Vivek saw many places but when he went to Kashmir on work and met the line producer there, pictures were sent to Bobby and everyone were impressed. After that there was no looking back and things moved smoothly as planned.

They shot just not four songs there but 25 days of drama also was picturized between the Brigadier character played by Prakash Raj and Military man character played by Naga Chaitanya.
