Jay Galla’s son Ashok Galla was supposed to work in a film produced by Dil Raju, funded by Jay Galla and directed by newcomer Sashi. Heroine was to be Nabha Natesh.
Movie got shelved in that compound and director Krishna Reddy was given the task of directing Ashok Galla.
This time, Dil Raju said he wasn’t sure of Ashok Galla doing justice to the story narrated by Krishna Reddy. So out went Ashok to Sriram Aditya and Raj Tarun stepped into Krishna Reddy’s project. It is Iddari Lokam Okate. But why was Ashok dropped?
The film supposedly is an intense love story and the hero is supposed to display a lot depth which a newcomer cannot possibly do.
Even in any case he does, the talk is he comes from Krishna’s relative’s family so fans will not like a soft or intense love story for a beginner. Oh really? Do people think that way?
These days the only thing the audience look for is freshness and nice execution of the story. It doesn’t matter if a hero is a newcomer or if he is connected to a filmi family.
The simple truth here was, the filmmakers doubted the hero’s ability to perform and trusted Raj Tarun, despite a flop hero to bring credibility.
