Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Ruler is all set for the release on December 20th. The film has been cleared by censor with U/A certificate. The film has been carrying some decent buzz and Nandamuri fans are expecting that their demi god will deliver the goods this time.
This year NBK has faced two disasters to his credit. NTR: Kathanayakudu and Mahanayakudu have turned out to be ultimate disasters in Balayya’s career.
So Balakrishna is in need to score a bumper hit. Ruler has done a pre release business of 22 Crores from two Telugu states alone. The film needs to collect more than 22 Crores for NBK to bounce back strongly.
Ruler seems to be the film which has been targeted at the masses. Though the story seems to be routine, the team is confident that mass masala elements in the film will be liked by the hard core mass fans of Balayya.
Coming to the first day Box Office prediction of Ruler, let us have a look at Balayya’s previous films. Last year Sankranthi hit Jai Simha has collected a share of 6.86 Crores on its opening day.
While NTR’s Kathanayakudu has collected a massive amount of 7.63 Crore share, it couldn’t cash in on the opening. The sequel Mahanayakudu is a huge dud. It’s opening day collections are shocking. The film has managed to score a mere 1.58 Crore share.
But coming to Ruler, the film is releasing in a good occupancy of 800 theaters from Telugu states which means 6 to 7 Crore opening is a possibility. If Balayya can sustain this opening, Ruler has all the chances to become a smashing hit.
