Recently, Telugu Bulletin conducted a the telephonic interview with the supremely talented and wonderfully charming Eesha Rebba, where she spoke about how she made her debut in the showbiz world, what she’s doing during the lockdown, how she is spending time with family, her working experience with NTR & Trivikram, and her decisions about films.

Scroll through to read on the full-interview of Eesha Rebba!

What have you missed out the most during this quarantine period? What’s the first thing you’ll do after the lockdown is over?

My friends of course. None of us have seen each other for a long time. I would like to go for a long drive with my besties as soon as everything gets normal.

I am with my family so getting a good time to spend with parents. Being at home, watching movies, having good time to cook, and spending time with my pets, doing fitness regime everyday …I’m hanging out with my sisters through calls and chats. That’s what I do.

One thing you can’t wait to buy for yourself after this quarantine time?

Actually, I’ve nothing in my mind to buy for myself. But I want to buy baking soda as I am carving to bake yummy cakes. Laughs…

During this quarantine time, everyone has been posting their cakes pics and videos, which made me carve for cakes. When I went out to buy cake stuff, baking soda is not available in the market due to the lockdown period.

How did you prepare for your characters? Are you an instantaneous or method actor?

I will do a little homework to get into the skin of my character. This process helps me a lot to exhibit my expressions very naturally. Sometimes, I’ll prepare on the sets itself.

Who surprised you the most?

My younger sister always surprises me with her cute-antics and surprise gifts.

Your favorite scene and the most difficult one in your acting career?

There are many favorite scenes right from debut film. But my most favorite scene is from Awe movie, where I explained about the child abuses. Personally, I’ve involved in the scene and my tears rolled out from my eyes automatically. Most difficult scene – I’ve played a lesbian role in Awe movie. Getting into the character, emoting skills and expression for that unique character is quite difficult, as I don’t have lesbian friends in my gang. I felt quite difficult while preparing and canning those scenes.

Your nose pin with special design in Awe movie grabbed a lot of attention from every corner. Whose idea was that?

Thank you. All credit goes to the film’s director Prasanth Varma. Prasanth said he has specially designed the nose pin to bring a special attraction to my role.

Coming to Tarak, he is a wonderful single-take artist. What’s the one thing, you want to adapt from Tarak.

I would love to inherit NTR’s HYPER ACTIVENESS. It is very difficult for everyone to be hyperactive all the time in the real-life. But, Tarak is always hyperactive, which is a very unique quality.

In your previous media interactions, you’ve mentioned that you watched Money Heist. If you want to see yourselves, what is an apt role for you? Based on your co-star experience, which is a perfect role for Tarak?

Hahaha (Smiles)… I think… I am apt for the Tokyo character. And for Tarak Garu, there’s no apt role for him from Money Heist. We’ve to create for him that suits his impeccable talent.

Do you feel that there are differences between the Telugu industry and the Tamil industry in terms of the importance given to the heroine’s screen presence?

I don’t think so… But when compared to Telugu Film Industry, Tamil Film Industry has content-driven roles for female leads.

You seem to have strong opinions on everything. What is the source of such thoughts? Reading or films?

Strongness doesn’t come from bookish knowledge. We’ve to make our decisions based on our experiences. I am such a kind of person. My real-life experiences made me so strong. My mom is the best inspiration for me. I’m really very much thankful to my mom to make me brave, and a person who never gives up on anything. She has always inspired me and motivates me to work hard.

The standout aspects of director Trivikram’s working style?

Trivikram sir makes everyone very comfortable on the sets. He is a very chill person and always wear pleasant smile on his face.

One film that you are proud of in your journey?

I am proud of all my films. Because, I am the only person, who made decisions about my films. Hit or flop, doesn’t matter, my characters always shined and I’ve cemented a place for myself in the TFI. I don’t blame anyone or any craft and I always trust my own decisions.

What does success mean to you?

As I said just now, hit or flop doesn’t matter for me. I’ll see my success by winning HEARTS! ❣️

You were part of the Lust Stories Telugu version, directed by Sankalp Reddy. Many hinted that you were out of your comfort zone for this film. can you share your experience? When Lust Stories will hit on OTT platforms?

I never had a comfort zone on the sets. Whatever the circumstances, I’ll give my level best. Actually, they’ve planned to release in April. But due to unexpected coronavirus pandemic, they’ve postponed and we’ve to wait for a new release date.

What kind of roles will you be keen on exploring now?

I am waiting for the characters like Awe and female-oriented scripts.

Lastly, what would be an ideal relationship for you?

As of now, I love my pets. I’ve unconditional love for my pets.

Before signing off, Eesha Reba played a fun rapid-fire session:

IF YOU WERE & WEREN’T!

IF YOU WERE AN ANGEL!

I’ll remove coronavirus in the world. (Wahh! Superb Eesha Garu)

IF YOU WEREN’T AN ACTRESS!

I would be an entrepreneur

IF YOU WERE A HERO!

I’ll be more talented!

IF YOU WEREN’T A GIRL!

Then, I’ll be a boy (Hahaha Laughs)

We wish you all the very best Esha Rebba!
