Inside Talk: Dull promotions killing solo brathuke so better..

Sai Dharam Tej‘s Solo Brathuke So Better will be the first Telugu biggie to hit the theatres since March this year. There are just a couple of days left for the release as the film will be out in theatres on 25th December, but it is yet to attain the desired amount of buzz.

Interestingly enough, the makers of Solo Brathuke So Better did not plan any whirlwind promotional campaigns to boost the buzz around the film.

Going into the story, the producer of the film BVSN Prasad sold the theatrical rights to Zee Networks for a fancy price. He is not involved with the project anymore. So, the senior producer did not pay attention to the film’s promotions.

Meanwhile, Zee Networks, who are releasing a Telugu film in theatres for the first time did not have a clear idea regarding promotions. They did not come up with a clear and effective promotional campaign.

All these factors have collectively resulted in a lacklustre pre-release buzz surrounding Solo Brathuke So Better. Not many theatres which will be screening the film from the day after tomorrow have reported house-fulls and that speaks for itself. Well, the footfalls at theatres have already dipped big time due to Covid-19 and on top of that, Solo Brathuke So Better is releasing with poor buzz and anticipation. This might take a toll on the box office run of the film.

Zee Networks are organizing a pre-release event for the Sai Dharam Tej starrer today and we need to wait and see if it can really catapult the buzz and anticipation around the film.
