Ace producer Dil Raju has delivered the goods against all the odds. Everyone thought that Dil Raju is taking a huge risk with Jaanu as it is a remake of Tamil cult classic 96. Even Nani and others suggested not to remake the film as it might tarnish the good image of Dil Raju, if the remake doesn’t turn well. But the ace producer is known for his strategies has struck gold with Jaanu.
He has selected Sharwanand and Samantha to play the lead roles. Another good thing he has done is that he has repeated Tamil crew mostly for the remake. Director, Cinematographer, Musician all are the same. Jaanu released yesterday has got positive reviews. Now coming to the business details, it is said that Dil Raju has finished Jaanu within 20 Crores and has mostly done the business through advance basis.
Theatrical rights has fetched the film 16 Cr while Non Theatrical rights has got 14 Cr. In total Dil Raju has pocketed 10 Cr profits with the movie. For Nizam he has considered the rights to be sold at 5 Cr, which is their own release. Digital rights were sold to Prime while Satellite rights were sold to Star Maa.
