Devineni once again gets notices from CID

Just yesterday, on Thursday, Telugu Desam Party member Devineni Uma, appeared in front of the CID, for investigating regarding the complaint that was filed against him, on a morphed video that he played at one of his meetings, earlier this month. This morphed video features Jagan, following which it has become a virally political issue.

Devineni was interrogated for 9 hours yesterday, by the CID. Despite that, the CID has now issued new notices to Devineni, asking him to appear in front of them on May 1st, for another round of interrogation. The CID said that Devineni’s answers yesterday were not satisfactory and that his answers were rather contradictive of the other.

Devineni is also not said to have revealed any details about that tablet and the mobile phone he used during the press conference. On the other hand, Devineni was absconding until recently, and missed out on two sessions with the CID, following which CID officials had even been to his house.
