Popular anchor Suma’s father-in-law and senior actor Devadas Kanakala has passed away at a private hospital in Hyderabad, while undergoing the treatment.
Devadas was born on July 30th, 1945 in Yanam and made his debut as an actor with “O Seetha Katha” in 1974. He also turned as the director later. His son Rajeev Kanakala is also a well known actor of Tollywood.
Devadas Kanakala owns an acting school in Hyderabad, which is quite famous among the Telugu film industry people. Super Star Rajini Kanth, Mega Star Chiranjeevi and Rajendra Prasad are the students of Devadas before they became actors.
Even several budding actors of Tollywood in the recent years, were trained in his acting school. It is widely believed that when Devadas was in problems, Rajinkanth gave his call sheet for a movie, but the former rejected it.

It is Suma Kanakala, who is extremely successful from the family and is quite busy with the handful of offers in the TV industry. She shares a good rapport with her uncle as it was revealed in a few of the public functions in the past. The exact reason for Devadas Kanakala’s death is yet to be out.
