In Telangana, Hyderabad is not only the administrative capital but also turned out as the Corona Capital. About 95% of the daily registered cases in Telangana are being recorded in Hyderabad. Now the Hyderabadis’ are in another big trouble apart from COVID-19.
The temperatures are rising at unbelievable levels in Hyderabad. The worrying thing about these high temperatures is the exposure of the most dangerous Ultra Violet Rays (UV Rays). World Environmental Organisation (WEO) itself declared that the UV Rays that are hitting the capital city would turn out more dangerous for the citizens.
Generally, these harmful rays would be obstructed by the OZONE LAYER that exists in the stratosphere. But, as the intensity of the sun’s rays is increased, these UV rays weaken the layer to reach the earth. Compared to Other cities in India, the UV levels in Hyderabad are a lot higher.
The exposure to these UV rays will cause skin irritation, blistering, and rashes in the worst cases. Most importantly the eyes will be effected in an intolerable way and without proper treatment these conditions would result in long-lasting deformities. So, the WEO predicts that this summer, 20% more people in Hyderabad would visit hospitals than usual.
So, people in Hyderabad should stay at home to be safe from both the invisible yet deadly Corona and UV rays.
