Just two days ago, a case was booked against TDP Chief and ex-Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, for allegedly spreading false information in Andhra Pradesh, about a new, more infectious variant of Coronavirus spreading in the state.
A non-bailable case has been registered against Chandrababu under sections 188, 505(1) B and (2) of the IPC and section 54 of the Natural Disasters Act, by Masapogu Subbaiah, a lawyer, at Kurnool’s one town police station.
Now, a criminal case has been registered against Nara Lokesh, Chandrababu’s son and TDP’s general secretary. A case was booked in D Hirehal police station under Section 153 (A), 505 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, after Lokesh made several allegations against Rayadurgam MLA Kapu Ramachandra Reddy, pertaining to an incident that took place in Karnataka.
This case was registered against Lokesh for even spreading hatred against Jagan in general, and Ramachandra Reddy in particular, on social media.
Coming to the defence of Lokesh, TDP politburo member Kalva Srinivasulu said that Kapu Ramachandra Reddy and his men were exploiting natural resources in Rayadurgam and that the TDP would very soon expose the illegal activities of Ramachandra Reddy.
