Covaxin and Covishield are effective against the double mutant !!

A recent study found that both the coronavirus vaccines Covshield and Covaxin are the most effective. A senior scientist said that the two vaccines were fighting effectively against the Indian variant of the coronavirus. He mentioned that it was normal to be a little weak after vaccination.

Anurag Agarwal, director of the Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology (IGIB), said the two vaccines had the greatest impact on the SARS-CoV2 variant, B.1.617. He said that the chances of the virus attacking after vaccination are very low.

“The B.1.617 variant is also known as the “double mutant” or “Indian strain”. It is gratifying to see that both the vaccines are effective in protecting against the virus”, Agarwal tweeted. The B.1.617 variant of SARS-CoV2 is mostly found in Maharashtra and Delhi. Hence, the second wave became more terrible.
