Contempt of court petition has been filed on Telangana police

Contempt of court petition has been filed in the Telangana high court against the Telangana police. Former IRS Garimalla Venkatakrishna Rao has filed a petition in the High Court. Four days ago, a petition was filed in the High Court alleging that ambulances were being stopped at the border.

In response to the petition, the High Court lashed out at the police. At that time, the High court made it clear that if the ambulances are stopped, the court will consider it under contempt of court.

Despite the High Court’s orders, the attitude of the police has not changed. Police blocked ambulances at all Telangana-AP borders again. The tragedy took place at the Pullur toll plaza in Gadwal district.

Telangana police blocked 20 ambulances. One patient died in the ambulance due to untimely treatment. It remains to be seen how the Telangana High court will react to this petition.
