It is known that schools, colleges and educational institutions have been closed abruptly due to the spread of the covid-19 virus. With this the education of the students became questionable. At this juncture many states across India planned to introduce online classes to students. The Telangana government also took a key decision in this regard.
The Bench of Telangana high court consisting Chief Justice Raghvendra Singh Chauhan and Justice B Vijaysen Reddy, directed the State government recently to file a report on the commencement of online classes to students.
They urged to give a clear picture emphasising about the resumption of academic session and on the guidelines or regulations set by it for conducting online classes.
During a recent cabinet meeting, the Telangana CM K Chandrashekar rao decided to give clarity in this aspect. CM appealed the school administrators and directed to commence online classes for school children following the guidelines of the Central Government.
He recommended to use the Doordarshan television channel for this purpose and also said that a schedule should be drawn up for conducting all the entrance examinations based on the new education policy. Authorities have been instructed to finalize the schedule.
