Clarity on Ind Vs Eng 5th test

The fifth test match between India and England came to a sudden halt and clarity has been given today, by Jay Shah of BCCI. The 5th test match got halted due to the rising number of coronavirus cases in the Indian team, and hence, for the safety of all other players. Jay said that both the Indian and England teams have come to a decision to cancel the match for now and that they are in talks to conduct the match as soon as possible after the situations are better.

Jay Shah thanked the ECB (England Cricket Board) for cooperating and understanding the situation in the current times. On the other hand, fans of both the teams were highly disappointed due to the cancellation of the match, and the same was reflected on social media as well. As of now, India is leading England with 2-1, and there are high chances that the Indian team will create a new history on England’s soil, as there are high chances of the Indian team winning the series. Initially, the ECB gave a confusing statement about the cancellation of the match, but clarity has now been achieved.
