Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya is registering unbelievably good pre-release business as its theatrical rights alone are set to fetch well over Rs 100 crores.
Yesterday, there were reports that Warangal Srinivas bagged the Nizam distribution rights of Acharya for Rs 42 crores, which is a sensational deal.
Now, it is said that the overseas rights of the Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan starrer fetched Rs 11 crores.
Renowned distribution company Phars coughed up the above-mentioned amount for Acharya’s overseas rights. A deal has been stuck very recently and apparently even the paperwork is complete.
The overseas rights would have fetched an even bigger amount if it wasn’t for the current situation pertaining to Covid-19 outbreak in the USA.
Acharya is locked and loaded for worldwide theatrical release on 13th of May. The film is carrying sky-high buzz and anticipation.
Koratala Siva is at the helm for the social drama and Matinee Entertainments and Konidela Productions are jointly bankrolling it.
