Megastar Chiranjeevi‘s upcoming prestigious film Acharya is one of the hot cakes in the business. Since the moment the release date was announced, the distributors in Telugu states are competing to grab the theatrical rights of the films.
The latest exciting update is that Acharya film’s Nizam rights have been sold to Warangal Srinu, who recently distributed the blockbuster Krack.
As per reports, Warangal Srinu has agreed to pay Rs 42 Cr to keep the fight at bay. It is heard that ace producer Dil Raju evinced interest to pay Rs 35 Cr for Nizam rights but Srinu has sealed the agreement for a whopping Rs 42 Cr. Reports suggest that 36 Cr is a non-refundable amount in the deal.
The inside reports also revealed that Koratala Siva is not in favour of Dil Raju as he had faced issues from Dil Raju during the release of Bharat Ane Nenu in Nizam. So, it became a bit easy for Warangal Srinu to fetch the opportunity.
After Baahubali-2 and Saaho, Acharya is the 3rd 40Cr Business in Nizam. Apart from Acharya, Warrangal Srinu is also distributing Sreekaram, Seetimaarr, VirataParvam Movies for Nizam area.
