Young director Sujeeth initially worked on the Telugu remake of Lucifer but opted out later for undisclosed reasons. Soon after, VV Vinayak came on board and he is working on the script now.
In his latest interaction with a media portal, Chiranjeevi revealed the reason why Sujeeth stepped out.
“Sujeeth cited his personal reasons for opting out of Lucifer remake project. He was busy with his marriage proceedings and could not fully focus on the script work. Sujeeth himself requested to step out,” Chiranjeevi said.
Speaking about Acharya, Chiranjeevi said Ram Charan will join the sets of the Koratala Siva directorial next month.
“It is my wife, Surekha’s long-standing dream to watch Charan and me act together. I am really happy that her wish is coming true with a film like Acharya,” he added.
Chiranjeevi will join the sets of Acharya after Dasara. The film is gearing up for release next summer.
