Chiranjeevi at Waltair Veerayya success meet: Ravi Teja and Pawan Kalyan are the same to me

Megastar Chiranjeevi has scored one of the biggest hit of his career this year, with Waltair Veerayya, which was released on January 13th, for Sankranthi this year. The film is directed by Bobby Kolli, and turned out to be a massive success. The film’s success meet was held at Warangal today, for which the entire crew that worked on the film was present. Chiru even got emotional when writer BVS Ravi was speaking about him and the film.

Talking at the event, Chiru said that he did not expect such a huge crowd in Warangal, and thanked all those who made it to the event. He thanked all the fans for making the film such a huge success. Chiru said that while everyone who worked on the film expected the film to be a good success, they did not expect the film to be so successful that it would create non-Rajamouli records. He said that all of this has been possible only because of fans.

Chiru said that the main reason for the film’s success is director Bobby, who has worked immensely hard to make sure that the film came out the way it did. He said that he became a fan of Bobby after watching how much hard work he put in for the film, and how much care he took to make sure that the film came out the way it did. He said that Bobby made the film very effectively without going overboard with the budget, and without wasting any shoot material.

Then, Chiru congratulated Charan and the entire team of RRR for its historic win at the Golden Globes, and its historic nomination at the Oscars. He said that this is a hugely proud moment for every Telugu audience.

Chiru said that Waltair Veerayya wouldn’t have been what it is today, without Ravi Teja doing being a part of the film. Chiru said that he considers Ravi as his own brother, and that he is often reminded of Pawan Kalyan when he looks at Ravi. He said that this is the reason why he could do the emotional scene with Ravi so effectively, as Ravi is just like his brother.

Chiru then wished Shruti Haasan, the leading lady of the film, a very happy birthday, as it is her birthday today. He also thanked everyone that worked on the film and contributed to its success, before signing off.
