Global countries like China, the USA, Srilanka gave a shock to Pakistan. The United States, China and other countries have rejected mangoes sent amicably by the Pakistan government. They have cited the quarantine norms reason for rejecting the mangoes sent by the Pakistan government.
According to a leading news agency, Pakistan recently sent mangoes amicably to 32 countries. Countries that have denied to receive include the United States, China, Canada, Nepal, Egypt and Sri Lanka. The mangoes were sent on behalf of the President of Pakistan, Dr Arif Alvi.
In 2015, the then Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif amicably sent mangoes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, then President Pranab Mukherjee, former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Congress chief Sonia Gandhi.
