Akkineni Naga Chaitanya seems to be on high with back-to-back movies after the success of his recent movie Majili. Majili starring Samantha and Naga Chaitanya which was released early this month earned Naga Chaitanya and Samantha critical praises.
It was earlier reported that Naga Chaitanya is currently working on his upcoming project in which he is to share the screen with his uncle Venkatesh. This movie is titled Venky Mama and is under making. Another update from the movie folks is that Naga Chaitanya is all set to play a cop in one of his upcoming movies.
Ajay Bhupathi who got instant fame with the sensational movie RX 100 is to direct Naga Chaitanya next. At first, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas was considered to act in this movie, but it appears like Naga Chaitanya has grabbed this offer. Naga Chaitanya is to play a cop in this movie apparently. The tentative title for this movie is “Maha Samudram”. An official announcement is to be made soon.
Also, Naga Chaitanya’s wife Samantha is being considered to play the female lead in this movie. If the news turns out to be true, this would be the fifth movie the couple will be sharing the screen as a pair.
