Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu severely went against the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday.
Speaking to the media in Tirupathi, Naidu said, “Modi has joined hands with YSRCP Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy and Telangana Chief Minister KCR to bring down the TDP government in AP. So he manipulated the entire election process and that was the reason behind the EVMs malfunctioning.”
Naidu demanded to count all the VVPAT slips for the accurate result, opining that would bring the positive signs to the TDP.
Referring to the allegations that TDP was involved in putting cases against Jagan, the CM said that there was never his involvement in any of such issues and recollected that all such cases were filed against him, even before the TDP came into the power in 2014.
On the other side, Naidu also busted out Election Commission saying that it has no right to interfere in any of the governmental activities. Mentioning that he didn’t go against the election code, Naidu said that reviewing the drinking water issues in Summer is essential and it has nothing to do with the election code.
He further opined that the EC is pure biased and is working as per the instructions of Modi. It is not at all worried about the other states which are performing all the governmental activities with full freedom, but is only concerned about the AP government, which clearly indicates that the EC is intentionally targeting the TDP government.
“Is it because I’m committed to the public service? or Is it because I’m stressing to count the VVPAT slips, the EC targeted me? Chandrababu Naidu questioned and clarified that he would fight more, if anyone tries to suppress him. He further called upon all the democrats to fight against the system, to save the democracy, calling it as the need of the hour.
