CCTV footage of head tonsuring released by Visakhapatnam police

In a shocking turn of events, yet another Dalit man has been subjected to tonsuring of his head in Visakhapatnam. Interestingly, this incident took place in Bigg Boss Telugu Season 2 contestant Nutan Naidu’s house. The CCTV footage has been released by Visakhapatnam police today.

In the video, we can see that the man is being tonsured while people surround him. As part of the case, Nutan Naidu’s wife is the A1 accused person. The man who has been tonsured has said that he used to work in Nutan’s house for a few days, and recently quit his job.

He was asked to once visit the house when a phone went missing in the house. Upon reaching the house, the man said that he had nothing to do with the missing phone, but the housemates did not trust him and had his head tonsured.

On the other hand, Nutan’s housemates say that the Dalit man had taken offensive photos of a woman working in the hosue and had been harassing her ever since then, andd had also been sending those photos to others. They also said that the man had confessed to his doings and said that he would pay back by getting his head tonsured. It was then that they had called a barber and got the man’s head tonsured.

Investigation is still going on, and the truth about the case is yet to come out. However, it is quite disturbing that Dalit people are repeatedly getting abused in AP, and that hte government is doing nothing to protect them. A few days ago, another Dalit youth’s head was tonsured in a Police station itself, and this news became viral all over the country. And yet, it is sad to see that the government took no action till now.
