Taking the current scenario into consideration, it is important for the YSRCP to stick to the rules laid down by the BJP, which enjoys a vast majority all over the country. However, members of the YSRCP seem to be forgetting this point time and again.
YSRCP MLA Bhumana Karnukara Reddy had written a letter to the Vice President of India, Shri Venkaiah Naidu, requesting him to release Varavara Rao. Varavara Rao had been named a Naxalite after he had conspired to take the PM’s life.
Responding to this letter by Karunakara Reddy, BJP AP incharge, Sunil Deoshar lashed out at Jagan, and said that it is high time that he puts an end to his double-standards. He questioned the transparency of Jagan, who was secretly supporting MLAs like Karnukara Rao, and was supporting the BJP in the open.
In his tweet, Sunil also attached the letter that Karunakara Rao had written to the Vice President of India. In the letter, Karnukara Rao has requested the VP to release Varavara Rao needs to be released because he was not even able to walk as a result of his failing health and advancing age. He also said that Varavara Rao was just an ideological supporter, and not an enemy.
For now, no one from BJP, except Sunil has responded to the issue, and the YSRCP members are still reeling in shock, considering the unexpected turn of events that have put their power at stake.
