The CBI Court has taken up the hearing of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s bail revocation case filed by YSRCP Rebel MP Raghuram Krishna Raju.
It is known that the MP urged the court to cancel the bail of the CM alleging that the latter is influencing the witnesses in the disproportionate assets case.
During the last hearing, the court directed Jagan, Raghuram Krishna Raju and the CBI to file written arguments. While both Jagan and Raju submitted as the court asked, the CBI officials surprised everyone by informing the bench that they are not going to file their written arguments.
These kinds of moves from the CBI are giving an opportunity to rivals of Jagan to believe that the top investigation agency is under immense pressure.
Telugu Desam Party leaders are alleging that Jagan is getting solid support from the Centre in the bail cancellation case. However, the CBI court adjourned the case till July 14th. It remains to be seen how CBI responds in the next hearing.
