Even Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru, which released 2 days prior to the Allu Arjun starrer, minted big bucks and proved to be a profitable venture for everyone involved. The head-on clash between these two biggies was an eventful one.

It is known that Sarileru Neekevvaru garnered 23.4 TRP on its world television premiere in the month of March. This is the highest ever TRP rating for any Telugu film till date and it speaks volumes about Mahesh Babu’s following amongst family audiences.
Cut to now, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is gearing up for its television premiere. The film will be telecasted on Gemini TV on the occasion of independence day, August 15th at 6:30 PM.
Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, directed by Trivikram ticks all the right boxes to be termed as a wholesome family entertainer. It received an exceptional reception at the time of its theatrical release. We need to wait and see if it can repeat a similar feat on the small screens and break Sarileru Neekevvaru’s record of highest TRP for a Telugu film.
