The Tauktae cyclone had taken the lives of many people and caused massive damage to properties in parts of India. It did not spare the Bollywood‘s top stars film sets in Mumbai either.
The set that has been erected for ‘Maidaan’ was badly damaged. This special set was made in the suburbs of Mumbai for the film starring Ajay Devgn in the lead role. This is the second time such damage has been done to the film. Earlier, in May 2020, the set was dismantled due to COVID-19 lockdown, and the expected rains.
The sets of Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Tiger 3’ in Goregaon was also partly damaged by gusty winds and torrential rains. As per reports, the makers of the film had erected a set replicating Dubai at SRPF Ground in Mumbai’s Goregaon for the YRF film.
Along with them, the sets of Brahmastra, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, were also reported minor damages.
However, the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, which stars Alia Bhatt in the titular role, had avoided serious damage as they were recently covered with sheets.
