In May this year, a visually challenged woman named Buda Naga Lakshmi had donated her 5-month pension of Rs 15000 to actor-philanthropist Sonu Sood’s Charity Foundation to do her part in helping the needy during the pandemic time.
Calling her the richest Indian, the star actor posted her picture on his Twitter handle and lauded her for the act of selflessness.
Now, to everyone’s surprise, Sonu Sood has announced that Buda Naga Lakshmi will inaugurate the oxygen plant that is being sponsored by him in Andhra Pradesh. She has been given the honour after witnessing her generous act.
“Really proud to announce that Buda Nagalakshmi, the blind girl who donated her 5-month pension of Rs 15000 to the Sood Foundation will be inaugurating our oxygen plant in Andhra on July 23 at 11:15 am (sic),” the actor wrote on Twitter.
He also revealed that IT Minister Gautham Reddy and DC Chakradhar Babu will grace the occasion. Now, this gesture of Sonu Sood is receiving accolades from netizens.
