BJP hits YSRCP at right point!

BJP is slowly increasing its attacks on the ruling party of Andhra Pradesh, as the national party is keen to form a base and emerge as a tight competitor to YSRCP by the next elections.

Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has attended the party membership drive program-Sanghtan Parv in Guntur. Speaking at the meeting, he said that no political party or leader will last long in power, if they continue to back and promote their families and also show concern only on the people belonging to their caste, religion or region.

His comments were indirectly aimed at Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who allegedly encouraged more number of leaders from his very own ‘Reddy’ community. “If Jagan continues to do the same, then he will have to face the similar situation like Naidu, in the future”, Chauhan said.

This is in fact a much valid point that BJP leader took, as both the big parties of AP are widely known for backing their own communities.

Shivraj Singh Chauhan noted that BJP is never back of any such discrimination and picked only the leaders who truly serve the people. While there are rumors that BJP may tie up with TDP, to tackle YSRCP, Chauhan clarified that the Lotus Party is going to contest all alone. There will not be any tie ups from any of the political parties.

The only way BJP can get any identity in AP is either by granting special status or tying up with any local political party. But a solo war would lead the party nowhere, as it is already witnessed in the recent elections, where the party could not even get 1% vote share.
