Earlier there were comments that Rajya Sabha MP Sujana Chowdary’s entry into BJP is the strategy of TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu to get closer to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. But all such allegations were proved to be just rumors, as Sujana now came up with some controversial comments against his ex-boss Naidu.
Sujana participated in a felicitation program in Vijayawada, arranged by the BJP leaders. Speaking at the meeting, he criticized Naidu’s program in the name of Dharma Poratam earlier.
“It is not Dharma Poratam, but Adharma Poratam that Naidu performed earlier. Though I opposed him, no one listened to me,” he said.
While both YSRCP and TDP are of the opinion that the BJP government has backstabbed Andhra Pradesh, ignoring the special status and several other promises made, as part of the AP Reorganization Act, Sujana shockingly backed the Lotus Party saying that there is no other state like AP that got benefited from the Centre, in the last four years.

Right after Sujana shifted to BJP, several opined that it is due to the fear of the cases against him. As he now opened up that BJP has given more than required for AP, it is clear that he is not going to get any more political mileage from the people of AP and no other political parties are going to invite him into their parties, as it would invite severe criticism from Andhriites.
So, Sujana is left with the only option of continuing in BJP throughout or else quit the politics completely.
