BJP failing where BRS and Congress are leading

The Bharatiya Janata Party enjoys power in the center itself, and as such, one would expect the party to ensure that it leaves no stone unturned in every state that it has its presence in. However, the BJP hasn’t done any such thing in Telangana, where the party’s manifesto has not put forth any attractive schemes for the people of the state. The manifesto was recently released in Hyderabad by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

The manifesto consists of ten points, and none of them are attractive, especially when compared to the manifestos of the BRS and Congress parties. With the exception of providing free laptops for women pursuing professional courses, making fixed deposits for newborn children, providing employment, four gas cylinders for the beneficiaries of the Ujjwala scheme – for which 95% are not eligible in the state, and a free Kasi yatra trip for the elderly, nothing else has been put forth by the party. Apart from that, the party has stated that a person from the BC community will be made the CM, as per the party’s policies.

This is a shame when considering the fact that the BJP’s manifesto in Madhya Pradesh is a lot more lucrative. It is being said that the main reason for the poor manifesto of the party is the leaving of Manifesto Committee Chairman Vivek. As such, a manifesto is said to have been put together at the last minute by the party. Looking at this manifesto, it is safe to say that the BJP may have to suffer badly at the hands of BRS and Congress, this time around.
