In a rare feat, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda completed 100 days run in certain theatres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The makers held the 100 days celebratory event last night.
Speaking at the event, Balayya said “I fully trust in Boyapati Sreenu. I guess the trust is mutual. We don’t stress overtly on the stories that we word on. We just believe in each other and go ahead. I would like to thank the Telugu audience for encouraging our film and giving it a 100-day run, which is a depleting feat these days.”
Boyapati said Balakrishna is carrying forward the legacy of the Nandamuri family and adds that he needs to be commended for the same.
The event was a gala affair and Balakrishna was at his energetic best in the same. Incidentally, Akhanda turned out to be a blockbuster on OTT as well. It is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
