South diva Samantha Ruth Prabhu has stunned everyone by wearing a deep neck gown to Critics Choice Awards in Mumbai on March 10. Although she rocked the look with her fashion styling, a section of people trolled the actress for her choice of outfit and neckline.
Well, everyone knows that Sam is a strong woman, and she knows how to deal with the trolls in her own way. Taking to her Instagram stories, the Rangasthalam actress slammed netizens who criticized her.
Samantha’s post can be read, “As a woman, I bear firsthand knowledge of what it means to be judged. We judge women based on what they wear, their race, education, social standing, appearance, skin tone and the list goes on and on (sic).”
She added that making snap judgements about a person simply based on the clothes they wear is quite literally the easiest thing one can do.
“Now that we’re in the year 2013, can we finally stop judging a woman based on the hemlines & necklines she adorns and focus instead on bettering ourselves? Turning that judgement inward and training it on Turning that judgement inward and training it on one’s own is evolution! Projecting our deals on someone else never did anyone any good… lets gently rewrite the way we measure and understand a person (sic),” she further added.
On the work front, Sam will next be seen in Shaakuntalam, Yashoda and also an international film titled ‘Arrangements of Love’.
