It had already been reported that noted Tollywood production house, AK Entertainment announced that they will be venturing into digital content production very soon. They will be producing a web series based on acclaimed novel series, ‘Shadow’ written by prominent novelist, Madhu Babu.
As per latest updates, AK Entertainment have approached Tollywood macho star, Rana Daggubati for the lead role in the web series. Things are presently in discussion stage and Rana might be giving his nod very soon.
‘Shadow’ is a novel series filled with action and thrilling elements. The series has a wide reader base and it recieved a largely positive reception. AK Entertainment feel Rana is the right person to play lead role in the cinematic adaption of the series.
Pradeep Chilukuri, who previously directed ‘Raja Cheyyi Vesthe’ has been roped in to direct this web series. He is working on the script now and will be locking the final draft soon.
AK Entertainment had already acquired all the necessary permissions from Madhu Babu for the adaption of his famous novel series.
The lead cast and technical crew for this web series will be finalized and related news will be announced in the days to come.
Rana himself is planning to produce more digital content in the near future. He is in talks with many filmmakers and will kick-start a few web series’ and concept-based films for digital streaming platforms soon.
