India is witnessing a surge in Covid-19 cases indicating a second wave in the country. Meanwhile, many people are flouting the pandemic norms. Surprisingly, a popular Bollywood actress continued to shoot despite being tested positive for coronavirus.
The Mumbai Police has registered an FIR against the actor for neglecting the Coronavirus norms. The official Twitter pages of BMC and Mumbai Police shared the FIR copy, saying that the star went shooting despite testing positive for the deadly virus.
Without disclosing the name of the actress, Mumbai Police tweeted, “No ‘Role’ Greater Than Helping Keep Mumbai Safe! FIR has been filed against a Bollywood actor who flouted quarantine rules and went shooting after testing positive for COVID19. We urge citizens to ensure a well-deserved climax for the virus.”
The FIR has been registered at Oshiwara police station under sections 188, 269, 270 IPC, 51B of NDMA Act, 3 of Epidemic Diseases Act.
