‘Avenge politics’ Jagan’s only agenda for life?

During the pre-poll period of the 2019 Assembly elections, many media channels and political analysts predicted the Jagan’s wave and the same happened in the elations too. The people heard Jagan’s request of ‘Okka Chance’ as Babu failed terribly to make an impact in the last 5 years.

Soon after grabbing the CM throne in a more dominating way, Jagan started to behave like a Monarch and started ‘Avenge Politics’ in no time. He formed enquiry committees on all the Industries, Companies, Mining and Irrigational projects that were formed during the CBN’s reign.

Thereafter he wanted to demolish Amaravati which is a dream capital city of Chandra Babu and Telugu people only to satisfy his ego. Later he insulted Babu at Vizag Airport as his followers hurled chappals and eggs at Chandra Babu mercilessly. All of these are a part of revenge on the Opposition party.

Now, he is directly taking his revenge on the system. Jagan and his government followed the violent way to make the local body elections unanimous but the state election commission applied brakes to their josh by postponing the polls considering the COVID-19 pandemic. Jagan went to the supreme court opposing SEC’s decision but was rejected by the higher authority.

Being a Chief Minister, with power in hand, it is not so difficult for a person like Jagan to take revenge on a State Election Commissioner. He just took the system into his hands by passing confidential G.O’s and overnight governor’s signature to dethrone the State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar from his post by reducing his tenure to 3 years from 5 years.

When the whole state is under panic with above 400 reported COVID-19 positive cases in the state, Jagan’s only focus lies on his never-ending rage and Revenge against his enemies and this is not exactly how a CM should behave in these critical circumstances, opines many political analysts and people.
