Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, has to wait for another day in jail as the Bombay High Court adjourned the hearing of his bail application for Wednesday.
The star kid, who was arrested in connection with the cruise ship drug bust case, was currently lodged at Arthur Road jail. The hearing will resume on Wednesday afternoon at 2.30 pm.
Senior advocate and former Attorney General for India Mukul Rohatgi represented Aryan Khan, in his bail plea before Bombay High Court. He argued that the officials have made no drug recovery from the youngster, and no medical test has shown that he consumed drugs. He further said that the WhatsApp chats recovered by NCB were not related to the cruise.
Notably, Aryan Khan had moved the High Court after both Magistrate and Sessions courts rejected his bail plea. Meanwhile, the Narcotics Control Bureau Tuesday filed an affidavit opposing the bail plea of Aryan.
