SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar has taken disciplinary action against the Joint Director of the AP Election Commission GV Sai Prasad.
The State Election Commission has decided to hold the elections in protest of the state government’s decision regarding the local body elections in the state. This decision is strongly opposed by the state government.
Currently, GV Sai Prasad is on leave for 30 days. Apart from going on leave for 30 days, other employees were also influenced by him to go on leave.
According to Article 243 and Article 324, the SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar has issued directions that GV Sai Prasad will no longer be able to perform duties directly or indirectly in government services.
