Previously, the YCP chief and AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy has lashed out at the lawyers, arguing that the CBI cases should be investigated first. In this backdrop, as the CBI special court probing the Enforcement Directorate (ED) cases, issued summons to Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
The court clarified that the trial of the entire case could be conducted irrespective of the CBI cases. The CBI and the court rejected Jagan’s lawyer’s contention that the entire cases would be heard only after the CBI charge sheets were proved. It was decided to start the registration of charges in all the cases so that they would be heard in advance. The trial is set to begin on May 21.
