State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar enraged over the release of a manifesto by the opposition party, TDP regarding the panchayat elections.
It is learned that recently, TDP President Chandrababu Naidu released the election manifesto titled ‘Palle Pragathi-Pancha Sutralu’.
With this, SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh issued notices to the TDP leader. He ordered an explanation on the manifesto by 2nd February.
YCP leaders brought to the notice of the commission that the law makes it clear that elections should be held in a non-partisan and peaceful atmosphere.
They appealed to Chandrababu to action against his followers who have violated the rules. Responding to their complaint, recently AP SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh issued notices.
