AP reports lesser Covid-19 cases with recovering patients

State Medical Health Special General Secretary Jawahar Reddy said corona positive patients have been slowly recovering as the number of active cases is steadily declining. It was found that 1056 victims have been recovered from AP and the death rate is 51.49 and doctors are working relentlessly to reduce it.

Speaking in the press meet at Vijayawada, Jawahar Reddy said those who went to the market in Coimbatore from Chittoor and Nellore were tested positive.

He also said that he had instructed medical specialists to perform diagnostic tests for older persons in the high risk category. In emergency situations plasma therapy is being administered, which has been planned at Kurnool at GGH. Earlier migrant workers from Maharashtra who have reached to Kurnool have manifested corona symptoms and 37 workers were tested positive.

Although the severity of covid-19 cases were high in the recent past, the number of new cases is steadily diminishing. In the latest 24 hours, only 33 people were diagnosed as positive. Officials said 10,730 samples were tested in the state in 24 hours.

The number of cases registered in the state reached 2051 where 1056 people were discharged and one person died in the last 24 hours. There are currently 949 people receiving treatment whose disease condition is alleviating and fortunately found to be recovering.
