If reports are to be believed, the government of Andhra Pradesh has cleared the entire medical bill of deceased Telugu lyricist Sirivennela Seetharam Sastry.
Reportedly, the chief minister’s office got in touch with the authorities at KIMS Hospital in Hyderabad and asked for the relevant medical bills and assured them they would be covering the same.
If that really is the case, this is a class act by the YS Jagan-led government.
Sirivennela was born in Anakapalle of Andhra Pradesh and it is understandable so as to why the AP government might have decided to cover the legendary lyricist’s medical bill.
Sirivennela died of lung cancer related medical complications at 4:07 PM on 30th December. The entire Telugu film fraternity is mourning the demise of the renowned film technician.
